Sunday at Seaton Sluice and Hartley Bay

Looking at stratification from adjacent to a public house looked easy. This is the man-made cutting at Seaton Sluice.

Things were soon to change.

We had to go down to the beach on a steep footpath. Luckily it had a rail.

A tutor holds a pole (2m) as a guide for our estimates.

Lots of notes to take and drawings to be made.

Then other students blocked the view just as I thought I had got the perspective right.

Round the corner and lots more views.
